It's just after 4:00 pm. I finished most of my weekend to-do list. Plus I cut open a toe, and no I do not know how, so add perform minor surgery on myself to my accomplishments. I'm sitting on the couch now, contemplating the state of my nails. I've used up all of my energy. My weekly oomph gauge is almost empty.
I think I'm going to just stretch out and relax and maybe see if SNL is any good this season. Just as soon as I find enough
p.s. I know I said a while back that I needed to give up to-do lists because they make me feel a failure. They had become more a tally of everything I needed to do but just couldn't ever get through. This is the first time in a few months that I actually wrote one out -- which was good because I kept forgetting about the furnace filter. I'm not saying I can handle them regularly because I can't. But weekends like this, when I have a bit of get-go and things I really want to prioritize. . .
p.p.s. The stress rashes have receded. I can't remember if I mentioned that they'd come back in force the last few weeks. They did, but it's better now.
