I'm still here. Sorry I didn't check in last night. I broken down and went to an obnoxiously huge box store that I won't name for final bits to finish my peacock costume. Then home and supper and . . .

I dunno. Truly. I think I drolled a little. I just sort of sat in a coma until my brain announced, "Bedtime!" Which is how tonight is going, too, tho without the big box store.

(Funny story. I was going back to the big box after work tonight because last night I found this odd random thing in the Hallowe'en section and l decided today it would be a great stocking stuffer (it probably won't fit in a stocking) for a friend, but since Wa- I mean the big box thinks it's a Hallowe'en thing it won't be around after this weekend. But then it took an extra minutes to get home because there was an interstate lane closed so instead of crossing the bridge and climbing up the hill taking approximately 3 minutes it took 23 minutes which isn't long in the billions of years of the universe's existence but is an eternity when you're tired and stressed and hungry and have to pee and just really want to accomplish this one d*mned thing.)

Anyway, I am alive, tho that might not be obvious to anyone watching. I didn't buy the Hallowe'en decoration stocking stuffer. I haven't finished my costume. And my brain is saying, "Bedtime!" again. (Also typing on my phone so much is really making my elbow hurt.)

I go to Bestie's tomorrow and won't be home until Sunday. I think with no work stress and actual support from a lived one I'll be okay. I probably won't post over the weekend -- in a good way.
