New glasses, same eyes

I’m worn out from all I’ve done today and overwhelmed with all I need to do. I’m trying to focus, well, not on any of it — not on what I have or haven’t done. It’s exhausting to think about either way.

My new glasses were ready today, so I got to have that fun realization, “Daaaaamn, how long was I driving with my sight so bad?” The glasses (regular and sunglasses, first bifocals, oh, and add a little polarization, too) is something else I’m avoiding thinking about. The cost, at least.

I did get a raise which started yesterday. So that’ll be like five extra bucks on that paycheck. Probably not tho’, because I can’t math right now.

I’m not crafting or feeling useless because I’m not accomplishing everything. It’s adult summer reading so I’m just reading.

And petting the cat.
