One steamy vacation

I’m pretty sure search engines like the color wheel and the odd noise and virus central (you know who you are) don’t pick up my blog. So I feel safe using this title today.

If you’ve been playing along with the home version you know I gave myself a few days off work for peace and relaxation and general self-care. Hah. I took days off intending to put together my two new cabinets and organize all of my craft stuff and maybe prep the veggie garden (weather permitting).

Weather did not permit as it had been barely in the 30s most days, altho today did get all the way up to mid-40s. No Sun, so it truly felt mid-40s.

And the organizing sh*t morphed into rearranging all of the furniture. All. Of. It. The study is now the guest room. The guest room is now a craft room and library (with almost no light, but that’s a problem for another vacation day). The desk which was in the study is now in my bedroom.

I did put together the cabinets today — the final day of my vacation. The are lovely. And empty.

Because I have been running full steam head for five days. And this afternoon I ran out of steam.

The new arrangements are great and I’m sure they’ll be awesome once I take another few days off to organize everything. And exciting bonus: I found most of the felt meeces. Princess Purplemouse is still MIA, but I think I have all of the others.

I can’t really do anything more as I have filled my regular herbie curbie trash can and my recycling bin. So I’m just going to binge Bridgerton season 2. (More steam heat, if ya know wha I mean. wink wink. Say no more.)
