Kibbitzing over the surgeon's shoulder

My incisions are visibly healing. Yay! The glue is even finally starting to lighten or wash away or fade or whatever happen to surgical glue two weeks later.

Yes, that's right. I'm glued together.

My surgeon is very good. It was a big deal when my local hospital lured him away from one of the big city systems. I trust him. Really. But just glue?

I know me. I know most types of glue. And all I'm saying is, if I were Frankensteining a human back together I would use Gorilla Glue or maybe Crazy Glue annnnnd some strong stitching.

Not an endorsement of either Gorilla Glue or Krazy Glue. I just know that's what I have in my tapes 'n glues drawer at home. I also have hot glue sticks, but 1) ow, and 2) really not the best choice for gluing together flesh. I base this on how easy it is to wash / peel it off of your hands. Unlike the other two which require lots of nail polish remover and scrubbing with an old toothbrush.

And even so, I'd feel better knowing there was a little thread or at least a few staples, too.
