It's Thursday. (It's Wednesday, but we feel like it should be Thursday. We took a vote. Democracy.)

Yesterday was the 2022 general election. I started looking at results almost as soon as the polls closed. Which was a mistake. Then I kept obsessively checking. Also, not a great idea. I finally just made myself leave my phone in the living room and go to bed.

This morning was . . . well, I was very disappointed by many of the results. It wasn't all doom. I'm letting myself breathe just a bit, at least until the Kentucky General Assembly meets and gets it in their heads to do God knows what.

Anyway, that's where I've been and why I didn't check in. I'm still holding on. I'll try to write a proper post tomorrow (hint, it will probably be Friday).
