Today is Monday. yup. No question about it.

1. coffee maker turned on but refused to make coffee

2. logged in to minimum programs at front desk. learned desk schedule just changed. it was in e-mail which I hadn’t looked at yet. started to log out to cede position to Rachael but phone rang four times in seven minutes.

3. back at my desk (finally!). called overdues. first call, regular patron, was sure she had returned. I looked all over, logical & illogical, for the book.

4. the rest of the day has just glumped into a mass of ugh in my brain, but I’m sure there’s a 4.

5. googled mr coffee troubleshooting. all sites had same suggestions: plugged in (check), fuses ok (check), water (check), everything in place (check), probably something terrible with heating coil, etc (fuck).

6. so probably no coffee tomorrow morning.
