Sleep — it does a body good

Not really a Friday Deep Thought -- or maybe it is: I made my grocery list and my to-do list. I put "take a nap" on the list (to-do, not grocery, but you probably guessed that).


You have probably also guessed that my brain is foggier than norm because I'm making less sense with more words than norm. Because I'm very very tired. Hence the incredibly important "nap" on my to-do list.


Today is not a day I can just pushpushpushpush myself to function until bedtime. I don't have another twelve hours in me. I may not have one. We'll see.


So when my eyes close and my brain shuts the f*ck up, I'm going with the flow. And it's okay because nap is a specific to-do item.


And if something else doesn't get crossed off today, that's fine, I'll do it sometime this weekend. Nap takes priority -- now that I bought food and took my meds and renewed my license.

See, that's how tired I am. That was kind of funny to me. I need a nap.
