First, this is what I first encountered when I got up this morning:
It's not been a bad day exactly, just . . . well, starting with a stove gargoyle really set the tone. But I got through with the mantra, "At least it's Wednesday."
It wasn't until I'd gotten home and fixed dinner and was settling on the couch for a couple of hours of Netflix that I suddenly realized today is not actually Wednesday.
Today is Tuesday.
p.s. I know I said / swore / ranted about not turning on the furnace again until late autumn. But then we were in a freeze warning (not sure exactly what that is because all of the weather forecast services seem to be making up their own weird shit these days) for over 24 hours and it was damned cold even mid-afternoon. So, yeah, after waking up two days in a row to my internal house temp under 60F, I turned the furnace on.
p.p.s. The freeze warning followed on the heels of the fire watch and fire warning -- because of the warm, very dry, very windy conditions -- days. All of this explains the excessive antihistamines and snot in my system for the last week.
p.p.p.s. I hope the excessive snot explains the random odd sort of vertigo I'm experiencing.
