Happy Two-Day Weekend*

It may be a cool, rainy, dreary holiday weekend, but I'm settled in to watch Celebrity Bake-Off while eating a hot dog on a slice of white bread (nostalgic bun of my childhood) and a boxed side.

I can't be more American than that.

*Nine-to-fivers may get a three-day weekend, but in public service we're just happy to get a day off. Two in a row is the stuff of dreams. Three days off together means I'm in a coma.
