I’ve checked the day at least a dozen times, so I’m pretty confident it’s Sunday. Back to work tomorrow. Vacation is over.
I feel good about what I got done this week at home. And I feel, well maybe not good, but a lot more solid. I need to keep the house in order. I can’t control the negative patrons at work. I can control my clutter if only because I can.
Maybe keeping busy decluttering will also drown out the voices in my head. I’m already second-guessing everything I said to Shaina while she was here — and over-analyzing everything she said. Which really is the definition of crazy as Shaina is the most honest and straight-speaking person in the world. She does not hide behind subtext.
My other big lesson from the week: I am a food wuss. I ordered medium — medium — Indian Thursday night. And tonight I used the spicy Szechuan sauce on my rice and dumplings tonight. And both practically blistered my lips. Wimp.
At least I’m going back to work with clear sinuses.
