I’ve been watching a collection of 1930s horror movies. I have never been invited to an old family manor or castle. I’ve never driven, or been driven, up a windy drive in a storm at sunset.

I’d change that immediately if I knew how.

Does anyone living in such a home want to invite me over? I’ll bring wine and cheese. But please, no angry mobs with torches and pitchforks.
